I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
